Colostrometer

The Biogenics Colostrometer measures the antibody content of colostrum. Inadequate or poor quality colostrum can cause calves to be "sickly" or slow starters. Giving calves quality colostrum ensures adequate levels of natural antibodies to fight disease and scours. That makes measuring antibody content efficiently and accurately especially important. To use, place the colostrometer into a cylinder and fill it with one cup of collected colostrum. The amount of antibody present is determined by the scale reading at the top of the milk level. The colostrometer has an easy-to-ready measurement system in color to help you clearly see antibody content.
