Draxxin 25 Injectable Solution is an antibiotic for use in swine, suckling calves, dairy calves, and veal calves. Draxxin 25 is indicated for the treatment of swine respiratory disease (SRD) associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Haemophilus parasuis, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae; it is also indicated for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni, and Mycoplasma bovis in suckling calves, dairy calves, and veal calves. Each ml of Draxxin 25 contains 25 mg of tulathromycin.
Swine: Inject a single dose IM in the neck. Administer 1 ml per 22 lbs. (2.5 mg/kg) body weight; do not inject more than 4 ml per injection site.
Calves: Inject a single dose SQ in the neck. Administer 1 ml per 22 lbs. (2.5 mg/kg) body weight; do not inject more than 11.5 ml per injection site.
